Celebrating Excellence: Strive Team at the ARPA National Awards

June 30, 2026 by striveor

There are moments in our industry that remind us just how meaningful the work we do really is—and the ARPA National Awards is one of them.

This year, members of the Strive team had the incredible opportunity to attend the ARPA National Awards, coming together with peers from across Australia to celebrate excellence in workplace rehabilitation. It was an evening filled with connection, pride, and a shared commitment to improving outcomes for the people we support every day.

For us, the night held even more significance. With our team member, Akash Rooney recognised among the finalists, it was a moment to pause and truly reflect on the impact of the work happening across our teams. From supporting individuals back into meaningful employment to navigating complex recovery journeys, the dedication and professionalism of our consultants continue to set a high standard in our industry.

While awards nights are always special, what stood out most was the sense of collective achievement. These nominations are not just about individual success—they reflect the strength of our team culture, the collaboration across regions, and the genuine care our people bring to every client interaction.

The evening also provided a valuable chance to connect with other providers, share insights, and celebrate the broader rehabilitation community. It’s a reminder that while we each play our part within our own organisations, we are all working towards a shared goal—supporting individuals to rebuild, recover, and thrive.

We are incredibly proud of our team members who were nominated and recognised. Your passion, commitment, and professionalism are what make Strive what it is, and it was a privilege to see that acknowledged on such a significant stage. Congratulations to Akash on being a finalist in the outstanding achievement in return to work, psychological claim category. Also, congratulations to Jeaneen McMahon on receiving 15 years service recognition in occupational rehabilitation, and to Meg Kelly and Trisha Reaston on receiving 10 years service recognition.

As always, we returned from the event energised and inspired, ready to continue striving (pun intended!) for excellence in everything we do.

Congratulations to all finalists and winners, and thank you to ARPA for hosting such a fantastic event. We’re already looking forward to next year.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Strive acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia. We recognise their unique connections to land, sea and community, and in particular we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and play. We wish to pay our respect to their Elders past and present, and recognise that there is no greater example of strength and resilience than Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture as the oldest continuing culture in the world.

Strive remains committed to fostering a workplace that values and celebrates the unique perspectives, background and talents of every individual. We strive to create an inclusive environment, eliminating all forms of discrimination where all employees, clients, and partners feel heard, respected, and empowered.
