November 12, 2018 by striveor

A BIG congratulations to our Managing Director Chris Foley for winning the 2018 Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association National President’s Award for outstanding contribution to the workplace rehabilitation industry.

We are very proud of you Chris and see the endless amount of work and passion you put into every day behind the scenes. This is a very proud moment for Chris individually and for the Strive family. Chris started Strive with co-owner Sharon Darmody in 2004 and there has been many highs and lows in the journey to date but this is a great moment of recognition across the industry for Chris’ endless dedication and commitment to helping others. Chris has an unbelievable ability to pick through any situation to navigate a solution no matter how complex it is, and he is such a giving person to all people he works with wanting to see everyone he comes in contact with thriving in the work they do.

Well done Chris! Very VERY well deserved.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Strive acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia. We recognise their unique connections to land, sea and community, and in particular we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and play. We wish to pay our respect to their Elders past and present, and recognise that there is no greater example of strength and resilience than Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture as the oldest continuing culture in the world.

Strive remains committed to fostering a workplace that values and celebrates the unique perspectives, background and talents of every individual. We strive to create an inclusive environment, eliminating all forms of discrimination where all employees, clients, and partners feel heard, respected, and empowered. We welcome all people regardless of age, gender, identity, ethnicity, ability, sexuality, faith and all other identities represented in our community. We believe that embracing diversity not only enriches our workplace but also fuels innovation, creativity, and success.
