September 5, 2023 by striveor

Strive’s Clinical Director and owner, Sharon Darmody has been named a finalist for the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards which will be held later this month in Sydney.

There were over 2,500 nominations this year and it is an incredible feat to be recognised as a finalist and speaks volumes to the incredible work many women in small businesses across the country are doing. Sharon is a finalist in the Professional Services category for 2023.

Sharon is an Occupational Therapist, Principal Consultant, Organisational Coach, Author, Mediator and a co-founder of Strive Occupational Rehabilitation which opened in 2004. Sharon has served on the Australian Rehabilitation Providers Association and is widely respected in the industry as she brings over 25 years experience, and later this year will launch her book ‘Work your MAGIC’ designed for leaders at all levels to help teams and individuals rediscover what makes work work again.

“I am thrilled to join the other finalists to celebrate the achievements of small business. In such a turbulent time for all businesses over the last few years, it is wonderful to be able to come together to celebrate all the remarkable things women in small business are doing across the country” Sharon said earlier this week.

We are all wishing Sharon well for the awards ceremony on 23 September 2023.
