Can you share a glimpse into your day at Strive:
One of the things I love most about my role is that no two days are ever the same—it keeps things fresh, dynamic, and engaging. My day usually involves a variety of tasks, from entering incoming referrals to staying on top of reporting requirements, which helps keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
My favourite part of the day is the morning. I’m usually the first person my colleagues see when they walk through the door, and being greeted by their smiling faces always sets a positive tone for the day. It’s a small moment, but it brings a real sense of connection and community to the workplace.
How do support the Strive mission?
In my role, I help keep the wheels turning by being the support that supports the consultants to support their clients. I’m the steady presence behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly in the admin space so that my teammates can shine in their work. It’s a privilege to be a small cog in the big machine of the Strive team that changes so many lives—quietly but powerfully contributing to meaningful outcomes every day.
If Strive Business Support had a team motto, it would be?
I’d say our team lives by the motto: “Supporting with heart, empowering with purpose.” We’re the quiet force behind the scenes—keeping things running smoothly so our consultants can focus on making a difference in our clients’ lives. Of course, our backup motto would definitely have to be “Coffee first, brilliance second” because no magic happens without that caffeine boost!
Who is a source of inspiration for you?
Someone who really inspires me is my mum. As a single parent, she worked incredibly hard through tough times and never crumbled under pressure. Her resilience shaped my own work ethic and taught me the value of perseverance. She also showed me that compassion and kindness are strengths—not just in life, but in the workplace too. Whether I’m working with colleagues or clients, I carry those values with me every day.
What are you currently learning or loving?
Outside of work, I’m deeply passionate about art. Being an artist means I’m constantly creating, exploring new ideas, and evolving my style. Every piece I make helps me grow, and that daily improvement is one of the most rewarding parts of the creative process. It also fuels my creativity at work, giving me fresh perspectives and helping me see the world in new and inspiring ways.
