The Role: Senior Consultant – Psychologist / Rehabilitation Counsellor / OT
Locations: Brisbane, Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Gold Coast
Strive recognises that in 2026 we have multiple growth opportunity roles for an aspiring Senior Consultant within Brisbane, Toowoomba, Rockhampton and Gold Coast to assist with the ongoing growth and development occurring within these regions.
As industry leaders in early intervention and complex case management, Strive’s approach has a strong focus on early engagement with a number of clients including critical incident response, onsite support, leadership coaching and team support services.
The Senior Consultant role provides the opportunity to join a variety of existing projects across regional teams, engaging with clients onsite in their workplace, with a focus on upskilling, training and debriefing.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the relevant Strive regional Team Leader, you will be tasked with the following:
- Management of early intervention and mental health prevention project opportunities (up to two or three days a fortnight pending location)
- Management and facilitation of various workshops including around resilience and wellbeing, de-escalation, managing vicarious trauma, having difficult conversation
- An opportunity to be involved in team interventions and thematic analysis of team dynamics to provide innovative solutions to improve team cohesion
- Management of a case load of clients with a broad range of psychosocial needs, employee support and manager coaching
- Case load will include a mix of projects, workshops, workers compensation, state government, DVA and other insurer and private sector work for Strive customers
- Delivery of early intervention and injury prevention projects and programs for Strive customers
- Case load will require some travel within geographical region, as well as ad hoc travel throughout other regional areas of Queensland as required.

Qualifications:
- Organisational Psychology degree, Psychology degree, Occupational Therapy degree, Rehabilitation Counsellor diploma or relevant tertiary qualification
- Occupational rehabilitation experience is desired but not essential
- Provisional psychologists are welcome to apply
