The Role: Senior Consultant – Psychologist / Rehab Counsellor / Occupational Therapist – Brisbane.
As industry leaders in complex case management, Strive’s approach has a strong focus on early intervention in our engagement with a number of clients including critical incident response, onsite support and team support services. This role provides the opportunity to join a variety of existing early intervention and mental health prevention projects across Queensland, engaging with clients onsite in their workplace, with a focus on upskilling, training and debriefing.
Reporting into Strive’s Brisbane Team Leader, you will be tasked with the following:
- Management of early intervention and mental health prevention project opportunities (up to three days a fortnight)
- Management and facilitation of various workshops including around resilience and wellbeing, de-escalation, managing vicarious trauma, having difficult conversation
- An opportunity to be involved in team interventions and thematic analysis of team dynamics to provide innovative solutions to improve team cohesion
- Management of a case load of clients with a broad range of psychosocial needs, employee support and manager coaching
- Case load will include a mix of projects, workshops, workers compensation, state government, DVA, Income Protection and worksite assessments
- Case load will require travel through the South East Queensland region and at times more broadly through Queensland

- Organisational Psychology degree, Psychology degree, Rehabilitation Counsellor diploma, Occupational Therapy degree or relevant tertiary qualification
- Occupational rehabilitation experience is desired but not essential
- Provisional psychologists are welcome to apply
- Ideally we are looking for applicants with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Mediation or Facilitated Discussion experience is also desirable but not essential
